Skeewee, congrats on the CLI! That's definitely a real shocker. Keep 'em comin'!

OK so back in May of 09 I posted that Macys gave DH a increase from $300 his original amount too $100.00 which made his new limit $500.00. Well this past weekend I went and bought a new comforter set well DH wanted to go ahead and pay it off so we went on line and the purchase did not appear and I was like what's up with that:confused:. So DH calls to get the payoff I had the receipt so we knew I had purchased the comforter set..

So to make a long story short DH is going threw the automation system and it say's your balance is now $252.00 your available credit $1448.00 so my DH was like WTF:shocked: so he was like something's not right and I was like what's wrong I thought maybe I did something ...lol...ha..ha.ha he was like they said my available credit is $1448.00 we were so shock that DH was like I want to speak with a live person just to make sure:dumbfounded: better safe than sorry... So we did not request because we requested one back in May so the 6 months had not pass so we were very shock with the new limit. FYI we are paperless so we did not get s statement or letter showing this increase so we were very shock....

No secret I have been begging Hooters for a CLI forever and when I quit two months later I got one.

That happened to me with Discover many years ago. I kept calling every 6 months for a CLI, they did a hard pull and I got $500 each time. Then when I stopped calling I got $1,000 every six months for 1.5 years (three increases). Sometimes it is best to let them do it on their own.
