Congrats on the CLI's Eugene and Rivas!

There have been many posts on the Internet that Target store cardholders were seeing auto-CLI's to a CL of $1,000. This is a good sign for the economy meaning that Target is encouraging shoppers to do their shopping at Target and they will need to hire new staff to support the holiday crowds.

My mother has a Target store card with a CL of $500 and has not received a CLI yet. I will tell her to keep checking her account to see if they increase her CL as well.

I logged in to see if my payment on my Target Store Card had posted and I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES!!!!
I got a CLI of $500 making it $1000!!!!!!!!!
I do not know whether it still is a store card or if it was upgraded to the Visa.... Who knows but ill take it!!!!!!!

Auto CLI on 07/11/07 to $500
Auto CLI on 11/03/09 to $1,000 (took over 2 yrs, I love shopping there)

So... This encouraged me to ask for CLI on my JCP and I got $300 making it $1800!!!!!

The last few days my Hooter account was screwed up showing a credit limit of 200, so saturday i called cs and was told that it was a computer glitch and it would be fixed by monday night (apparently i was not the only one affected by this) so i checked my account just a few minutes ago and not only was it fixed but i got another cli given me three for the year


Target must be in the Christmas mood because finally they raised my credit limit from 500 to 1000 yesterday, so three for three cli's is not bad:laugh:

Congrats and thanks for the advice. Today my Citi Card had a luv button and I clicked on it (no hard credit bureau pull). Started with $4,800 CL (new account) on June 8, 2009 and increased to $6,200 CL after five months. Not to shabby. They offered me a 0% BL for nine months so I am using that to transfer in some balances. They seem to like that too.

I opened my Citi card back in march and received my first cli in Aug,now this morning i checked my Citi account and there was the luv button there after three months after my last cli.

I decided just a moment ago to click on it and there it was a no credit pull increase of 3k bringing my cl over 10k and i am loving it.I just about put everything on this card and pay in full so it seems they like to see a lot of activity on it.

I called Macy's today and asked for a CLI since it's been six months prior to my last CLI and they raised my CL from $5,300 to $6,000.

Way to go!
