Hey everybody I am happy to report after many, many clicks of the luv button for Pennys finally got an increase today from 1000 to 1500 card had a balance of 581 when I requested the increase. The highest balance I have ever had on this card make me wonder if they would not give me an increase before because I was not utilizing the credit line I already have. Just a thought.

Macys Visa gave me a $1000 increase to my Visa Card and I didn't even know it until I called to check my balance a few weeks ago. Limit began in 2004 with $3000, now its $8000.

SamsClub Discover gave me a $700 increase last month. Limit was $3600 and now its $4300.

Are you sure they're not issued through Toyota Financial Services?

From what I understood, US Bank has something to do with it. I could be wrong.

From the Internet:

"MINNEAPOLIS -- U.S. Bank and Toyota have teamed up to offer the Toyota Rewards Visa, giving Toyota owners and aficionados a simple new way to earn points toward service, parts, accessories and vehicle purchases and leases at Toyota dealerships nationwide.
The card is made available through a unique joint issuance agreement between the two companies, in which Toyota Financial Savings Bank serves as the card issuer, and U.S. Bank provides management of certain components of the program, including marketing support and risk management."

So I guess TFS does issue the card. Not sure what US Bank gets out of it.

I have the Toyota Visa card and used to have the Lexus VIsa (cancelled it), both are backed by Toyota Financial Services Bank unless they were recently bought out or there was a merger.

My card says TFS (Toyota Financial Services Bank) on the back of it.

Congrats kdb, that's great news! Toyota is a good company and tend to reward their loyal customers whether you're buying a car or using their card.

Do you mind sharing your credit limit? I'm interested in their card since I'm a loyal Toyota customer but won't be applying for new credit anytime soon.

I was suprised when I checked my account online last week. My Toyota Rewards Visa showed some love this month with a $500 CLI. That makes six CLI from 3 different banks in less than three months time. I think the banks must be relaxing a little now.

How long have you had your account open? I've had one since 2007 and it was only 300$ I got a $100 increase after 2 years.. and they charge me $59 annual fee, what gives? and do you get a fee?

I've had this card since 2006 as a pre approval with no annual fee, this was back when the credit environment was like gold as far as getting cards with good credit limits and terms.Household back then had three or four versions of this card and the card I have is a step below their regular HSBC cards because of the max cl and my terms and now i see they only offer two versions of the card,a secured one and one with a annual fee.when i received the card they were given me pretty good cli's every six months as i used it and pif and sometimes carried a balance on it.

I just pulled my equifax report and noticed that household/hsbc was doing quite a few softs on my report last month so I decided to go to my household account and put in a request for a cli. so I logged on and put in for a 500 cli and pushed submit and was approved so now my total cl with my household account is 5k, the maximum cl for this card so they say.....

Last month I looked at my Best Buy Reward zone MasterCard and decided with the credit limit and annual fee,It was not worth keeping it opened anymore so I called customer service to close it.The csr asked me why I wanted to close my account blah...blah ...blah.....and my answer was what can I buy worthwhile at Best Buy with a measly 500cl so I just use my prime card (heh heh..)to pay for my purchases. The csr responded by reversing my last annual fee and will make my card more flexible in spending in the next couple of weeks so watch my email for changes to my account.

Well last week I got a white envelope that new and renewed credit cards normally comes in and noticed it was a new Reward zone MasterCard platinum instead of gold with no annual fee with a new cl of 1400 so i said to myself, it's a keeper lol.
