Does anyone know if a person was on a fixed income, can they apply for a credit card?????
My dad would like to apply for one but the apps say about employer and he doesnt have one????? He does get a monthly income, though.

Well there is your answer, way too many inquiries. They all seem to use Experian too, I hate that. TU and EQ have no inquiries, my EXP has 3! One of those three was when I asked Chase for a CLI most other companies do a soft inquiry.

Capital One doesn't have any secured cards.

Did they offer you a secured card? How many cards have you been out applying for?

The only cards I have that don't have fee is Macy's just got yesterday $100.00 CL, Dillards and Chevron, which I have had about a month thanks to you good people.

Have you tried for Hooters or Capital One yet? You need an upgrade, those other cards you have served their purpose.
