Next time they call, tell them that you're recording the phone call and going to send the tape to the FTC via express mail the next day.

Yes, I had this very call and I was on the "Do Not Call Registry". The Caller ID was 602-000-XXXX so I picked up the call knowing full well it was false by the caller ID number and accused them of scamming and was very rude (actually I was worse than rude). They hung up after a second try.
