I just got back from a Circuit City that wasn't on this list and I was told by a friend of mine who worked there (and I didnt even know it). That as of January 16th, Circuit City is completely going out of business. He said they announced it Friday to the public and as employees they had to sign a contract stating that if they didn't quit or get fired, they would be paid till March 31st. So, if they sell out of all there products this week, they are still paid for 2 months +.

Pretty interesting, especially cause Circuit City said before the holidays it was just going to close certain stores.

Thanks for the info....Our store is closing...went there to see what they had for there liquidation sale...10% off ....yea right...outside it said 30% off everything....Alot of people there....Not worth waiting in a long line for...I love this forum, thanks guys for all of you input..

None close to my area 415, is closing. The 510 and 650 cities that they are closing is sort of out of my traveling areas. I don't too much go to circuit city anyway.

That really stinks. The ones close to me (848 and 858) are closing too. The closest one will be like 30 min away.

Store #406 is my local Circuit City store. I guess they are closing down for good.

Using this link, Circuit City Stated that, "Circuit City co-branded cards are offered through Chase Card Services, and will not be affected by the filing."

I heard today that Circuit City is closing today....are all of there stores closing....I was just wondering cause, I Have a Circuit city chase rewards card with them and was wondering if it will be rolled over into something else:scared:
