Alright, I took my own advice and I called Macy's for a CLI

Well, I requested one (Macy's) over the phone and got a whopping $300 for a total credit line of $1800.

It's ok, a lot of people don't even get that much! Way to go but I wish you would have went into the store

My brother just opened up a Chase cking account and they pulled a soft inquiry on him. They all love Experian because its the fastest at reporting.

Is Bestbuy/HSBC MC feeling allright? I don't know if there was a glitch in the system but they gave me a CLI of $200 without me asking for one. Just checked my balance and noticed the increase. I am totally shocked (lol)

I've had the card for two years now and I received a credit line increase in May of this year. They didn't do a soft or hard pull on me, of course it may vary from person to person and region to region. Who knows.

Meya, everytime I requested a CLI from Macy's over the phone, I have not received a huge CLI. The large CLI I received from them was about 5 months ago when they gave me an auto CLI of $1,200 which brought my CL up to $2k.
