No, I don't have a Bloomingdale's card because I have not seen one of their stores here in CA.

They have one at The Beverly Center and Sherman Oaks. I probably wouldn't have one either-very expensive store. Plus, I think that they should allow the Macy's card to be used at Bloomies.

Well I did apply online and got the $100.00 credit line. I went to the customer service desk to ask about the increase they handed me the phone and said I would have to wait 3 months for an increase. That's okay though I bought my brother in law a jersey for Christmas for $25.00 and will pay off and sock drawer the card for 3 months and see what happens then.

It wouldn't hurt to try. Make sure you purchase something before having the cashier call and ask for an increase.

You just opened the Macy's? Meaning recently? From what I have gathered from other people here is that Macy's will only look at CLI every three months.

Did you apply for the account online or at the store? If you applied online you probably got the $100 credit limit for security reasons, go into a Macy's and show ID and you might be bumped up to $300-$600.

So to recap: if you applied at the store and got $100-wait three months; if you applied online then go to the store and show ID to customer service and request the CLI.

Congrats, that's a really nice CLI! I hope I can receive a $700 CLI next month to bring my Macy's limit to $3k.
