So out of the blue Emblem raised my card limit. I went from $184 to $384 overnight. Yea for me! It kind of makes up for my Salute card being cut off.

Congrats on the Macys increase... Thats not to bad especially before the holidays. I am going to try in Feb too when 3 months are up and see if they can do better than the 100 CLI they've been giving me in the past 7 mths.

Please, note, I reported about Macy's Visa, not a store card. CLI on Visa is given every 6 months.

I don't know either, I really don't. That's why I was shocked and surprised when I saw them approve me for more than I requested. I had requested $1k and they gave me $1.5k.

You're on a roll, look at you. From what I've read about Discover, don't expect to much when it comes to CLI, be glad they gave you one at all, because I've read in many places that some cardholders have carried their card for years without receiving any increase. That being said, it seems they gave you a pretty sizable one. Don't let me start ranting about the measley line the gave me to start with.

Discover has always been a conservative lender.

Macy's Visa is my 6th highest CL, Discover is 7th. I was a bit dissapointed by Discover, expected more.

Congratulations Cireone, I'm waiting for my three months to be up in February to ask for another one. I hope its a lot better than the last one ($300).
