FYI- Amex has their own internal scoring system they use in addition to using FICO. One of things they look at is Utilization.

I was recently approved for a Blue Cash Everyday Card with a cl of $1,000. They pulled all three c.r.a.'s and the score I was approved with was 706 equifax. I had two late collections on my c.r. from five years ago and about 12 inquiries in the last year. Hope this helps.

Where does your credit need to be to qualify for an American Express Card?
I was declined when applying for the BlueSky, but approved a month later for Delta Amex. And that was with a 768experian, which they used to pull.
