Gamergal74, from the stories that I have heard. Being a stay-at-home mom, is like 3 full-time jobs itself. lol..

You should def try for your P&C license. I have my Health/Life license in 6 States and I will say, I never get bored (every day brings something new and interesting). And I have always thought about getting my P&C license, just because I hear the commissions/residuals are so good. Imagine, the average homeowner in S. Florida pays at least $3K for insurance (at least after the all the hurricanes we had in 2005 lol), and you can make as much as 20% commission on that. Not to bad, expecially if you get a good block of business going and clients that keep coming back.

HJM, yea you def have the get a good set of beats to start dj-ing. Do you have anything in mind (brand wise)? My older brother started to get into dj-ing and he even got some good gigs through a cousin of mine at some really good clubs in NYC (Webster Hall) and Miami (Club Space). He did those gigs and just gave up on the whole bit. Meanwhile, he spent about 2000 in the equipment which wasn't to wise of business deal. lol.

I work in the engineer dept at a hospital and meet people from all walks of life.when i look at the economy and see all the companies folding and job that are being lost but at my job and hospitals in general they are looking for nurses at a premium.the referral programs for nurses at the hospital i work at could pay you as much as 5 thousand dollars if your referral stays for at least 2 years.

Everyone seems to have such interesting jobs! Well, I'm just a housewife. Got three kids and a dog that I can't stand! Hubby is out to sea but upon his return I plan on getting my P&C insurance license . Hope the economy hasn't hit that too, but insurance is something that pretty much everyone has to have or shall I say supposed to have.

Not yet, I'm still working on my vocals and production. I'm still saving up for a turntable set so I can learn how to scratch and juggle beats because DJing is the best way to promote yourself.

That's pretty cool. Have you hooked up with any firms/musicians about your music? Just wondering....

I hope nobody runs after reading this post but here goes nothing....... I am employed by the great AMERICAN EXPRESS. For almost four years I have been with this company and do not really have any complaints, except just this last year they switched the health insurance and now we have hsa's it really sucks, but they are a great company. I can answer most questions about amex cards except platinum and centurion, I do not work in the center that handles those cards so I know little about them. Right now I work as a fraud specialist (you would not believe some of the things that "fraudsters" do these days). I have worked in customer service, sales, and I even helped train new hires for about 10 months. SO I am glad to be apart of this organization and I hope to learn something new from you all.

I also forgot to mention (I have been in Insurance for almost 4 years living in Florida but also do sales in NY and NJ, so I travel up north once a month) and prior to that, I was a cable TV installation tech for 3 years in New Jersey, and I really can't remember what odd jobs I had prior, but it sure was a lot. LOL!

So, if anyone on the network needs to know how to hook up some free cable i can help lol (well actually not really anymore with this whole DTV2009 thing).

This is a pretty cool post, I like to see what everyone does for a living in the network.

I am a dental/vision/life Sales Rep for United Healthcare, I work part-time for my dads company (for free of course) and take 3 classes at community college. What can I say, I like to stay busy. lol!

Let me just say what happened to me. I applied that nu-finish polisher on my car and I still can't get those white streaks out of my car. It is suppose to have the car so well polished until it goes 12 months without another one. Well I have spent 6 trying to get it off. If you have scratches on your car, this will settle and leave white residue on there and you will be like me, scratching with a fine tooth comb trying to remove it. I am still mad. It is suppose to sit until it is dry and then it fall off like snow flakes when you wipe it, yeah that part did happen, and the dry settled in the cracks.:upset:
