The economy is making people change, I am serious. Knowing there is a brother out there making bread, these women will kick the broke ones out of the bed room and go looking for kiejon with a flashlight in daylight:laugh:

I got a few friends doing it now, but I will tolerate my dusty husband with his income any day:laugh: I will just make it better or ride with it.

Do you think they will adjust the rate to 2.5% because you didn't put in $10,000?

That is what I saw on the Capital One website. It looks like a tiered interest rate. ING looks like a good place for a savings account as well. I looked into them as well.

From what I am seeing is that to get the 3.5% you would have to put at least $10,000 in a savings account. If it is under, it is 2.5%. I only put $2,000 in my HSBC account and getting the 3.5%.

Capital One offers the same interest rate. Personally, I don't like HSBC nor would i trust them with my money.

I just opened a savings account with HSBC and put 2 grand in it. After I have my cc bills paid down a little more, I am going to put more in. HSBC has a deal with a savings account that the interest rate is 3.5%. Needless to say that I took advantage.

That is an awesome interest rate

When is a good time to invest in a 401k?

Seriously, start putting in no less than 10% of what you make in a retirement account (if you can afford) RIGHT NOW.
