Its ok it happens when we get excited about something. Especially being on this board where you can ask a question and not get your head bit off.

I just got 3 cards started them back in marchdo you have any cards that are reporting a good payment history?
do you have ant loans?
I got only student loans when I pull up my credit report I get revolving debt of 2500 (thats from the 2 companies i owe money from) I was wondering if i Paid that off faster would it boost my score quicker or would it not make a diffrence, right now I pay 320 to the DMP but I could pay 500-1000 some months..
I have 3 cardsi know you are paying off whats old but what do you have thats going to get your scores up?
The boa secured visa 500cl (it was my deposit)
capital one platnium 500 cl
and a great wamu card 0 apr and 1000 cl
and as far as things missing payments I am pretty sure that stopped I had something like 8 delquiants from 5 years ago.. thats when i started this dmp.. and yeah thats all I can think ofi am not sure how much your score will go up with more payments added but it cant be by much if you dont have another account reporting with no missed payments.
thanks for the help

hey I'm new as well.
Any advice for someone trying to get the credit score from where it was before (780) from the 608 they have right now?
I am in a dmp (debt management program) and got that almost paid off, if I send them bigger payments will that make my credit score go up quicker? also how long once those debts are clear do they hurt my credit score? I think i had 8 delinquent bills that I couldn't keep up on. But now I think its down to 2 over the last 3 years, I was thinking of sending them triple payments (ex instead of 315 pay them 900-1k), to get the balances down quicker, would that boost my score quicker? (i'm guessing it will but i'm not sure) also once those are cleared when can I expect that high credit score again? months ? years decades? thanks all!

Hi GKCUST, first off, never be shy in here, we love to see new members on a daily basis. Some of us can be a little goofy, but you will love every minute of it. I see you would like to chat with us, well guess what, you came in at the right time. On September 14th at 6:30 pm (PST) we are having a chat room meeting and we will love to see you there. Here is the link to accept the invite to the meeting
https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/index.php?handler=events&action=attend&evn_id=100014
Also, here is the link for copy of the announcement https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=428&highlight=chat&page=2 The cool part about it is that you can start a meeting (if you like) on your own. If you would like a quick run through about the site, here is a short posting(s) to read that will have you up and running in no time.
1. FG Rules (which you already read before signing up) https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=446
2. Short cut to how to post https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=532
3. Difference between New Topic and Post Reply https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=607
4. Short Typing https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=366
There is so many things to do here. We also have clubs that you can join, take a look above and run the cursor over "Finance Network" then select "Clubs" and then "Browse clubs" Select the club of your choice and go from there. Now I must add that you may run across some clubs that are marked private, so you would have to ask the club owner for an acceptance. Here is a link for you https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/index.php?page=clubs§ion=browse
Seems like to me that you are already on the ball with the board so you should be all good, but if you need any help, we will come running to you. Welcome to the sight and we hope to see you at the meeting.
