I would NEVER do unsecured cards, I'd rather run without credit than be "red" flagged like that. Is it the norm for a company that owns half of another companies shares, to disclose your account information on the other parties website log in?

Well, for cards that hve the same issuer or owner, saome f them can actually be viewed at another site. Take the BestBuy RewardZone Mastercard. Its issued by HSBC. Theres a website for the credit card (reardzonemastercard.com) but you can also view your account on partnercardservices.com. Another is the Total Visa and Rewards660 Visa. They both are serviced by the same company so you could view both accounts under the same account. As for New Millenium bank, i dont tink they would lose Merrick's customer base. After all whats the point in taking over a company.

Don't close it just sock drawer it. Keep it for the overall utili factor and history. You've worked very hard at rebuilding your credit and you've made tremendous progress. Give it a bit longer.

please do not close it because it took about the seventh month for them to give me my cli (nov 1k- june1200) so give it some more time.

You should be getting something this month, or no later than early next month.

My 7th month statement was printed about 2 weeks before I seen it. The last time I saw it, it was on Mycreditkeeper. This time I just happened to sign on to my account and seen it. I know it will be there, this is the same thing Pamela2 went through.

Hi YoYo11, Hooter's have a mind of its own. I received a cli in the first 7 months of having the card. Well I am due for another one at least by this month or next. I called in last month because I was told by someone here that they called in and got a cli. But when I called they told me that they do not offer cli across the phone and they periodically review our accounts and if they see we qualify for one they will give it to us. I was told this before, but I took a chance due to a posting I read here. I guess they were lucky....lol. Anyway, just hold on because the credit is about to get good again.
