I am over here laughing like crazy at you. I got my sister over here rolling and she barely know what we are talking about. It's a shame how these people are doing us. What's up with the bailout? They are bailing out on us....lmao!

Whaaaat! No, don't disrespect your socks that way, burn it and mail the melt down to them in a Hallmark envelope . What in the world is going on here? How can the cards with the bootleg cl try to take limits down beneath the barrel that they offer us!

OMG are you serious? I need to check all of my accounts when I get back home. This just put chills in me even though I only went out and applied 3 times in one year!

Mousepad, I agree. I don't know how AMEX is going to be able remaintain their customers again in the future. I don't think many consumers will consider AMEX as the prestigous card it once used to be.
I think BOA will give reduce my limit because they ratejacked me 2 months ago and I did BT to the card that I was ratejacked on. When last month's statement cut, they reduced my interest rate back to what it was. I heavily use and pay the card which means that I bring them business/profit so they wouldn't want to do anything to disappoint me or any other loyal customer.

dammm thats cold i am sorry to hear that:upset:
now i am kinda glad citi did and dont want to give me any of there cards
they turned me down for everything they have cause of short credit history and too many new accounts.
from what i have been reading on other boards is that if you have CITI, BOA, or AMEX be sure you will get a CLD soon if you have not already gotten one and GE Money is also doing the same.
so far it seems like the only safe cards to have are Capital one:cheesing: and HSBC:fun: and Discover:cheesing:
They are safe for now.
how amex is messing up it looks like Discover will soon be the top dogg card to have cause amex is burning alot of people and i mean alot.

Congrats on the CLI's everyone! That's what I'm talkin about, it's nice to see someone's receiving CLI's nowadays.
Me on the other hand, received my first CLD ever. It's coming from my Newegg/CIT Bank credit card. They are reducing my limit from $2,000 to $300. I just started carrying a $200 balance. I received the letter today and they stated that the reasons for the reduction was due to too many inquiries, too many new accounts, high util.

I just got my Victoria's Secret bill today and noticed that I got a credit line increase! It went from $500 to $970. I will take what I can get. Let's hope my Amex gets the idea!
