I called Macys and asked for a CL increase, the account is only 5 months old, but the limit was $300.00. Always on time with large payments each month, well above the min. Hard to really use at Macys without getting close to the line. They increased my limit to 1K. Also as a huge plus they didn't do a hard pull to my credit.

Went on to capital one and reuested a cli on my old household bank credit card and they gave me an increase of $500. It's not much but i'll take it.

Which credit bureau did they pull?

Applied for Old Navy card in store. Got approved for Old Navy Visa with $1,000CL, but credit report shows $2,000 CL....automatic increase.....think someone goofed up to my benefit.

Capital One just increased me from $750 to $2,200. I originally got the card with the steps program. I must say they are extremely stingy. But nice to see the increase! Nice Surprise.

With all the bad publicity, lawsuits, and complaints to government organizations they had to. It is much better to deal with them now, but it can still be difficult for many.

Started with the Walmart card on Christmas Eve...I did a store app for last minute purchases...was approved for 1800 and it was the Discover...in August I was bumped up to 2800 and when I went on the site to make my October payment it jumped again to 5300...GE does reward responsible usage...
