They gave my father a $500 CLI when I called in after the 3rd statement and they gave him another $500 CLI after the 4th statement cut but that was an auto-CLI. I hope they treat me the same way.

This is my first CLI on the new account. My third statement cut last week, and they didn't give me a CLI so I called and told them that I had received the "Credit Steps" letter stating that Capital One would grant me an increase if I met all of those requirements listed on the letter and he agreed so he granted my request.

They sent me a credit steps letter two months ago and my third statement cut on Saturday and they have not granted me an increase like they promised. I'm going to call them today and find out what's really going on.

Alright, I called Capital One about 5 minutes ago and they granted my request for an increase. My 3rd statement had cut and they didn't give me an increase so they gave me a $500 CLI.

BTW (by the way), this is my second Capital One. My other Capital One card is about 1.5 years old and I will be calling for an increase next month.
