While not a frequent user of said airline, I would however recommend this card to anyone who has a good credit rating and wants the perks of a high end Visa card. I applied online, and within one business day received a confirmation email from US Bank stating that I had been approved. While this is not as "instant" as some people prefer, I had my card within 7 business days.
Activation of the card took less then 5 minutes on the phone, and the person that I spoke with gave me the honest feeling that I was their only concern! I like that feeling of one on one customer service! And when I stated that I wasn't interested in something they had to offer there was no feeling of pressure at all!
The credit limit I was granted was very generous, and I would post it, but boasting is not something I do very well or feel the need for in a review.
All in all, I give this card two thumbs up. While I'm positive this card is not for a newbie, or someone who is simply starting out in the credit world. For those of us who have been around a while, had the chance to build up our good credit, and want to take advantage of what a true "Perks" card has to offer... THIS IS THE CARD FOR YOU!!!
P. S. I'm sure some of you who are on the fence about applying for this card will ask for reference. My FICO score as of Nov 2008 is 740. So I would assume you need to be somewhere around there for an approval!

Congrats on the new card! Hope you enjoy it and take care of it.
I know that you just received the card but has the account shown up on your credit reports yet? This is a Visa Signature card and I believe it doesn't report a CL.

I'm wondering if it's an optional feature to have no preset CL. They advertised the World MasterCard with no CL, but on the site there's a big asterisk on that as well as the concierge - my world MC has no concierge and my CL remained the same when upgraded.

The concierge service... As well as all the other perks. I have not yet checked to see if there is a limit posted on my report. However I am a very conservative person... When I got the card and called in to activate it (and I suppose I should have mentioned this as well in the review), I was given the "no limit". I am NOT COMFORTABLE with that. I mean honestly I have no desire to go out and buy a new truck with my card LOL.
I set my own limit. Which I suppose I will give up. Was $10,000. That is PLENTY more than I need. But I suppose it does look good on my report and such.

Appreciate your review and perspective. Thanks for sharing the credit score it took to qualify. Agree it is probably not a new credit user's credit card but for later in life. Awesome! US bank is at the top of the list of banks in good financial strenght.

Congratulations on ur new card... This is defiantly one of the best card out there... I was approved 2 months ago for 12.5k... Its my second best card after chase. The customer service is fantastic and this card wont decrease credit limits because of stupid reasons like other banks do... Im sure u will love this card..
