I got this card April 2008 witha $500 limit... I was excited because I had a bk that 11 months old... Today I got notice my new statement was ready to view and I pulled up my account and I am now at $700!!...
With the economy the way it is I was happy to get any increase.
I paid on time every month but I used it heavy..
This should help my credit score... Maybe not a lot but it is $200 toward my available credit.
I haven't had any problems at all with them. I don't know too many people that did.
If you are trying to rebuild or recently out of bk I would recommend this card strongly.

Hey, I am jealous. I have had my card for the same amount of time with the same CL and I haven't seen anything yet. I guess I will just have to wait until my cycle closes out next week and check to see what they give me. Again, Congrats!!!

I applied for this card 1-24-09, got the 7-10 day message, well I couldn't wait any longer, I called today and was told I was approved for $300.00, don't know what the APR or if there is a fee, but I am excited to be part of the Hooters Family! Meya again you have been a gem, I thank everyone on here for all your help! My Scores at time, My Fico Scores 492 TU, 613, Equ, 571 Experian

Congrats on your approval. I knew when I heard the 7-10 day message that something good was going to come out of this. Just keep an eye on your statement and make sure that you see our annual membership being billed per month (divided by twelve months) so you have to make a payment every month regardless. Its a good card, but I have noticed a few members here saying that they have not received a cli from them yet. They have had the card past its 7 month mark. Don't get discouraged when you see this, I do have faith that it will come, they are just taking their sweet time due to economy issues.

Good feeling when you get a CLI. People need to realize some of the cards on this site do not have large credit lines available (corporate policies) and store cards as a general rule stay under $1,000 CL (not jewelers). You are making progress.

Increase on 2009-02-26
Hey, I called today to ask about an increase and they told me to call back tomorrow during regular business hours and ask to speak to the credit dept. -(same number you just have to ask to speak to the inner credit dept.) and the lady told me my chances for a consumer requested increase would defiantly be a lot higher in that dept. So I hope this helps everyone. Good Luck... I know I will be calling in the morning.

I applied for the Hooters Master Card, and I know they checked my Credit Score last week. I have not heard from them, so I must remain sad for myself. That doesn't prevent me from being happy to see someone is doing good - like you.
You've got a CL increase obviously because you have used your CC wisely. So, Congratulations !!!
