Received my new Wells Fargo Financial Bank Platinum Visa Credit Card unsecured with an AF $29 and an annual interest rate of 25% and a 25 day grace period (Fico Scores EQ 697 TU 715 EX 709). Credit Card says Wells Fargo Financial Platinum. Why did I do this? Trying to speed up the credit card recovery process. Truth, it is another credit card hard inquiry for a card that doesn't grow with you!

I have seen Wells Fargo Financial on peoples credit reports, I just thought it was the same as the bank.
So you now have 3 Wells Fargo cards? Just some advice, you might want to have some competing banks cards in case you ever need to do a balance transfer.

Amend On Wells Fargo Financial Bank on 2009-01-04
Follow-up on my initial posting. The interest rate runs 8.9% to 25% except default. Also I have two Wells Fargo Cards (one secured and one unsecured - go figure) and one Wells Fargo Debit Card. I do have BOA and Chase along with other lesser brands. I appreciate the thought on BL's. A heads up. Crazy how the bank requires a secured card and the non-bank doesn't.

Thank you for posting this info about this card. I went in today to a Wells Fargo financial office, and was approved for the same offer as you were... Starting line $2100.
plus they also told me I was pre approved for an addtional consolidation loan to help me consolidate some higher balance cards...(mainly my 2 captial ones), however this is pending final under writing approval... They pulled TransUnion for me, and the manager said one pull does it all, it checks to see what other products you may qualify for.
I just like how I was treated too... Very pleasant. We reviewed my credit report together... Kind of that personal touch. So far go good, I will let everyone know...
