kdb112908's review: Yes I was approved for $500 Dollar limit. This is a somewhat disapointing CLI. All FICO scores above 700. The features of the card are great. I thought they would give me a better CLI. Since I have a WAMU Platinum Mastercard and have used it a lot & keep it payed off. It still has an embarassingly low $500 Dollar CLI also. With this bank I would like to know what it takes to get a CLI. I Don't want to take a hit on my bureau reports for canceling them. However I will if they don't make it a decent CL. Otherwise they're a waste of space in my wallet and on my credit reports! Not sure about WAMU!!!

Congrats again, but I have a question, are you applying for these cards all in one day? If so, I would slow down some because the inq's will impact your score and some creditors reduce limits when they see you are out applying for new cards.

Two WaMu's on 2008-12-06
It could be that since you already had another WaMu that they considered your income to credit line ratio maxed. Meaning, between the two cards that is the highest credit line combined they could give you.
Someone else was talking about this with their Bank of America MasterCard World a few days ago, check it out in the reviews.
Also, WaMu will be changing over to Chase soon. The last CLI I received from Chase was one that I asked for and they did a hard inquiry. Before this; however, Chase gave me regular increases, this was before Chase cards were serviced by what used to be Bank One/First USA though.
At any rate, just give it time and ample usage. WaMu finaly stopped sending me pre-approvals but on each application it stated "accounts reviewed regularly for credit line increases."
Good luck.

WaMu CLI on 2008-12-06
If your scores are in good standing and your account also, you will be rewarded in a great way. I went from a $700 CL to $2,250 Cl in just 3 months.

I have a WAMU Visa card that had an intial credit line $500, also, but they increased it to $1500 after six months, which still isn't that great, but its better than $500. I usually keep a balance on mine and pay it off every few months.

INQUIRY on 2008-12-07
Watch those inquiries as Colonative said. You should only apply as you need to, but anything over 3 is usually excessive in a 6 month period.
Your scores will suffer. Use the credit you have for a year, and your current lines will age and increase, but don't apply for more cards.
Your scores are good, but your lines aren't comparative to those scores. It may appear that you are applying for cards needing more credit. Issuers may feel you are maxed out/revolving lines to balance ratio, excessive inquiries.
Make the most of what you have before you start losing huge points.

Update On Account on 2009-11-15
When Chase took over Wamu accounts officially in March 09. They changed this card to a Chase Freedom card. So I combined this card with my Chase Visa Perfect card on 04/09. Still have a great low rate on Chase 8.9% and the rewards are great. I use it and PIF every month.
