divadonot's review: I was denied instantly. I am not upset, I just tried for the heck of it. This is a wonderful site with a whole lot of great info. Thanks for all the input.

That's Ok.... on 2008-12-02
Did they give you a reason on the spot for the denial? You should just wait about 6 mths and try again.

There is still great news, if you do not mind sharing your credit background, we can do our best to provide info on other credit cards that you may be approved for. Follow this link:

Like everyone just said, don't feel bad, it has happen to more than just you. We know a few cards that may accept you if you can just provide us with some more info in regards to the cards you currently have and a run down of what your credit currently looks like.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Everyone on 2008-12-03
This is a wonderful site and I am so glad I found it. I love when people help others to become better financial.
I haven't got the letter yet so I'm not sure the exact reason. I have been trying to rebuild my credit for about 8 months now. My EU score is 530. Not sure about the other ones yet. I just started a new job but I have a steady work history with the military (active duty to reserves) if that has anything to do with it. I have two cards right now
Salute $350 limit
Emblem $184 limit
My credit is jacked but I have gotten somethings removed and I'm working on paying other things down. No student loans in default, no BK, 3 charge offs.
I hope that is the right info, I'm still learning the site lol

Don't Feel Bad... on 2008-12-03
I'm not sure what their credit criteria is?? But there aren't many good things to say about their bank of choice: The Hooters MasterCard is issued by Merrick Bank. Merrick generally pulls from TU, but will also put a hard inquiry on all three bureaus as well. They'll denied folks with 700 + beacon scores before, and most recently as of a week ago (happened to a friend with a 710 score). Hang in there... There are better cards for you out there. Try Cap1 for rebuilding your credit.

Dont Worry !! on 2008-12-03
If you really want this card wait 6 months and apply again as many in this forum have done that and have been approved.
So don't give up and try later.
Good luck,
Alex
