I actually have the Chase Freedom Plus card. Which gives you 3% on top 6 categories and 1% for everything else. There is a $30 annual fee since I chose the Plus card. The rewards outweigh the extra $30 annual fee which is why I chose it.
Have had this card for about 3 years now. Only $1700 credit limit with 17.99 APR. I call once a year to get them to lower my APR, which they usually lower 1%. They refuse to give me an auto CLI, and I am not willing to take a hard pull. PIF almost every month because of the high APR.
For the couple times I have had to contact customer service they seem to be on top of things and know what they are talking about. I would recommend this card

I too, have this card, mine is a signature and reports a credit line. Go figure, I know some signature lines do not report a line. I think its really up to the issuer as to whether it reports, or the card type.
