I would def recommend this card. I have had it for 6 months now and not a single problem. 1.25 points /$1 is a great advantage. They also add up pretty quickly. BOA actually has a decent rewards program, so gives you a variety of choices from cash to airline rewards. If you went with this card you won't be disappointed.

I have heard that this is a good card and from my experience BofA is a great company to do business with.
But, haven't you already applied for a lot of cards this year?

I would hate to see you declined. BofA pre-approved me for a card 12/1999 and subsequently declined the application. Then they pre-approved me in 2001 and gave me a card, go figure.
Do you already have an American Express? Already have a BofA? Why not call BofA and see if they will upgrade one of your other BofA accounts and save yourself the inquiry and new account history.

Go get it! This is a top line card and it appears they want you. Take he chance. You may want to loose the other AX Card once you get established. You will have access to the 2,200 AX Offices, ATM Cash Advances and 1.25 points for every $1.00 dollar spent. Also, the Bof A name which is respected!

Great Card To Have! on 2008-11-19
Just received my BOA American Express Card today with an initial $4,000 CL. I called to activate the card this afternoon, and requested a credit line increase to do a couple of balance transfers. BOA instantly increased my CL to $8,200! They also do CL increases every 3 months (per your request) and it's a soft pull. So far, I am excited to have this card and can't wait to put it to good use... FYI, my Equifax score as of today is 766. Go and get this card if you do not already have one.
