This is absolutely, positively, without a doubt, my very last credit card application. After reading all the positive reviews about Kay Jewelers, I just had to try. They approved me for 5K which I was happy about. They have a very nice selection of jewelry and I live close to one of their stores (anybody picking up on the justification here?). BUT this is the last one (cross my heart!).

We're gonna hold you to that, lol... It's ok, if anything it will help your utilization... BUT, and I had to throw that in there, wait at least 12 months before applying for anything else.
We don't want to start seeing denials on you.

I mean, come on, it's a jeweler. Their stuff is pretty nice. I'm pretty cheap though so I won't make big purchases and I'll pay off my purchases in full. I will absolutely wait for 6-12 months for my next app because those inquiries are surely doing a number on my credit report. Thanks always for the great advice!

Sorry if I came off harsh, that was not my intent. I only asked because I had read from others that they opened it solely for the extra credit line.

My son just graduated from bootcamp and needed help purchasing an engagement ring for my future daughter-in-law. I was thrilled to help him out. We ordered a.50 carat round yellow gold diamond ring which should be delivered this week. Talk about great timing! Thank you Kay Jewelers and my thanks to everyone at Finance Globe who recommended Kay.
