Homeowner (paid perfectly)
Annual income 144k
Approved me for an Orchard account instead with a $300 limit and an annual fee of $59... Used the card a couple of times and then closed the account... Contacted HSBC to discuss and they said I had too much avail credit because I pay all my credit cards in full each month so I have 99% percent avail... Most ridiculous excuse I've heard so far

Can I ask where are you getting your scores from
i was able to get half of the cards you app for and I had a fresh 120day late on my report at the time.
your scores may be right
try myFICO.com they will have your real scores.
but you did get a hooters card and they wont touch me at all
lucky you.

You are applying for too much credit which is not smart right now. Try and understand that the banks are not even lending money to each other let alone most people with any kind of negative credit. You will need to stop applying for new accounts. Work on payment history and wait for the credit market to rebound. A friendly reminder all those inquiries stay on your report for 2 years.

Hello! on 2008-10-28
I would not be applying for sub primed cards anyway if I was casabana7. That is true, I would stop right now because you might start seeing your other creditors giving you a credit limit decrease because you are applying for too much credit. That is the Hot Topic on the threads now.
