Congrats on the new card! If you are rebuilding your credit, this card will help you. Make sure you use it at least once a month to show activity or else it will be closed for inactivity. That's the way it is for all credit cards especially right now with the credit crisis going on.
Good Luck

Congrats on your approval! Would you mind sharing your scores at the time of approval?
Although this is a signature card with a credit line, I assume it reports to the bureaus the credit limit?
If not, make sure you don't max it out each month, maybe just use it once a month like Hjm said for a small purchase, and pay in full. That way it won't hinder on your scorelines

Is It A Signature? on 2008-10-05
A lot of banks advertise the Signature; however many will downgrade to a Platinum if the scores are not kosher. A $500 limit and 22.9% APR does not seem like a Signature card.
Barclays, go figure.

I have the Direct TV rewards Visa too, and I have a high APR and a small credit limit $1300, been with them for a while now. But so far they are ok... Congrats... Rockin35
