I applied for a Discover card in June and got denied, but received the offer for this card instead. My CL is $600, no AF, interest 21.99%. I tried again for another Discover this month and ended up with another Direct Rewards card. This one had a $300 cl, no AF, still at 21.99%. When I received the card I called to have them combined to give me a $900 cl, but they combined them and gave me an extra $300! My new cl is now $1200 in only 3 months! I will definately keep this card!

Glad you like this card... I do too. It is the best HSBC card I have. In January, I got a $1000 CLI, current limit $3000.
Just a word of caution, NEVER use it for pay at the pump gas, Discover puts a BIG hold on your available credit... I bought $20 worth, but they held $75 for 10 days... HSBC told me it was a Discover thing...
Also... Watch it in a restaurant and adding a tip... DON'T do it. It will not match the intial authorization... Thus a creating a hold on your available credit for 10 days...
Otherwise, it is a great card. Once I learned about these two things, it has been great ever since...

I have this card too plus one other HSBC, have had no issues with it. Got the same thing applied for Disover and then sent to this card. Have fun with it.

Congrats on your new accounts with HSBC. Interest is high but still worth it because it beats cards like First Premier to the ground.

Also got my Direct Rewards Card after a denial for a Discover More Card.

APR 18.99%
I have not seen a CLI. I will patiently wait till I hit 1 year with them.

Thanks for the posting. I remember trying to get the discover and was denied, my only problem was that I was never counter offered this one... LOL. Glad you like the card and congrats on the combined card offer + cli.
