dave's review: I'm stunned. Most of the negative things stated here are a result of people applying for this card and not reading the terms and conditions. This company goes out of its way to make sure you understand the card before activation, they actually activate the card with live reps as opposed to an automated system! That is amazing in this day and age. They actually have an established credit line increase program, no other credit card company has that. If you have bad credit and can get their gold card, it's a great deal once you pay the up front fees off. So all you whiners should take some responsibility for ruining your credit, suck it up and be thankful someone is actually willing to give you a card again! It kills me how people can come on the internet, write BS about companies (and cant even spell normally) and it goes completely unchecked. pay your bills and READ contracts before you sign them. (steps off of soapbox and strolls off into the sunset...)

To the incompetent cardholders:
I am so sick of Continental Finance's incompetent cardholders... I know someone that reports lost/stolen cards for CFC... You would be astonished at how many hundreds of calls they get each day because people don't read their terms and conditions... It clearly states on CFC's website that they charge $247.00 dollars in fees, but people call (l/s) wondering why they have a billing statement that large!!! I swear it drives them crazy to repeat the same thing over and over again... And they (the customer) want (l/s) to provide customer service when they clearly state thank you for calling lost and stolen, there is nothing they can do... Nothing pertaining to customer service anyway!!!
To Continental Finance:
I hate the way you conduct business, I understand that your a company trying to help people build credit but at lease have a customer service phone number that works (1-866-489-3649). You charge all of these people $247.00 dollars in fees and then you don't provide anyone (except the automated system) to speak with if they have issues or concerns... What kind of credit card company is this!!! Lastly, (lost/stolen) gets the brunt of your calls... Its a shame!!! Why put people in a worst situation when they already have bad credit...?????
* If none of this applies to you then please disregard!!! Just fed up, that's all*
