I applied for this card online in 04/2008 with an Equifax beacon score of 650 and was approved for a $1300 credit limit. Since having this card, I have been approved for every credit card I have applied for. My Experian PLUS score has jumped almost 100 points since having this and other cards. They report the the bureaus quickly. Their customer service centers are loctated in the U. S. The CSRs seem to care and have knowledge about what you are calling about. It's the best among all of my cards. I would recommend this card to anyone.

Absolutely one of the best cards on the market, I've had this card for a few weeks now, great cust svc, and it will increase FICO scores rapidly.

On your new card. Discover is a really good card. When they are running promotions for the 5% on certain groups, you do have to sign up for them. Otherwise, it is just the regular rewards.

I just read on the Discover website that they are helping those affected by the recent hurricanes. They are offering free overnight replacement cards, immediate PIN numbers for cash advances, no fee for cash advances, and immediate access to Discover Savers and Certificate of Deposit funds. It is the integrity of the company among other things that will make me a card member for life. Way to go Discover.
