ashes's review: I got this card in 6/2006 with a $4900 credit limit. Their rewards are 3% for gas stations and 1% for the others. The APR after 2 years is 7.99% for purchases and balance transfers which I find excellent for those who keep a balance. When I applied for it, I did a $2000 BT on this card and their was no fee associated with the BT. Yes, no fee for BT and 0% APR for 12 months at time of approval. I haven't used this card much but I will be in future. And if I ever decide to keep a balance, the APR on this at 8% is atleast 5% better than my other cards. They however are not in business of giving CLIs without a hard pull. 2 years later and I am still sitting at $4900. I asked for one using a soft pull and they said they cant do it without a hard pull. I didn't want an inquiry on my report so I declined.
The rewards expire after 3 year once you accumulate them

What were your scores when you got this card? Other than the hard pulls for a CLI's it seems like a pretty decent card.

I got this card 2-3 weeks after I closed on my house in 6/06. In those weeks, I applied for 3 credit cards and 7 store cards like Lowes and Home Depot and Room Store and all so I can't say what my exact score was. My scores at time of house closing were 764, 759 and 755. The only reason I did a BT on this one is because there was no BT fee. Most banks charge like 1% of $75, whichever is less for a BT. These guys charged me nothing.

Thats awesome on a balance transfer. Sometimes you can get an introductory of 12 mos @ 0%, but I seen a lot of banks charge as high as 3%, most with a cap of 75$
Card sounds like a keeper. Hopefully, they will give you the auto cli soon. Its like pulling teeth to be rewarded for good behavior on an account you've excellently maintained for the last few years.
Good luck, let us know if they ever budge.
