When I received the email offer for the Tribute Mastercard, I searched online for cardholder reviews. I found these reviews and saw a lot of bad experiences related to customer service and Tribute taking a long time to post payments to accounts, leading to late payment fees on users' accounts. I almost didn't accept the card because of all the up-front charges but decided to give it a try. I went to www.Mytributecard.com and made the required $20 payment for the first statement and my card was activated 4-5 days later. I made a $30 payment and it posted within a few days. After all this, I can't help but to say that it has been a GREAT experience for someone with terrible credit. I still avoid calling them due to the customer service issues I see other people reporting but I can say that paying online is smooth and easy! I think as long as you make your payments early and online, you will not have any issues. At least I haven't. I give em two thumbs up based on my personal experience.
