mommyinok's review: Just got this card a couple days ago. 300 limit after you make a 30 payment. Yeah, yearly fees are jacked but it will help rebuild credit and then its gone!

Glad to hear of any approval regardless of the card. If you plan on leaving them, don't wait years because your scores will depend on it. Before you try another card with high fees, try these first:
1. Cap 1
2. Orchard
3. Travelocity
4. Hooter's

On you new card... Pay on time... An you'll get increases. Had this card for one year... Started w/$300 now $600 and they waived $50 off the annual fee once my 1st year hit!

Congrats on 2008-08-13
I applied for this card and was approved but immediately canceled after reading the info on this board. I say if you can do better then go for it, the fees on these cards are crazy.

Salute Still Very Much Alive. on 2008-12-26
My card was not canceled. From what I understand based on letters salute sent out they only canceled certain accounts, probably the ones that do not have a lot of fees involved. I just got a CLI about 2 weeks agon.

Salute on 2009-02-12
Salute has gone out of business, the bank that financed them did not. I am still being charged a monthly maintenance fee plus interest on that, for an account that was closed, I refuse to pay these fees for a card I have no access to use, this was a protection fee that is no longer in affect with them bankrupt. If these charges are not reversed, I will no longer pay what I owe them, which by the way, is under 600.00, but, the issue is being charged for a service that is no longer in affect. I am also being charged interest above what they advertise on their site, it isn't right that they can charge as they please, if you don't pay, your credit is affected, this is the only card of the twenty eight cards I have, that has this problem.
