chrispa's review: I applied for this card and was declined. I did However, got approved for Paypal Buyer Credit. Its pretty much a line of credit you can use to make purchases using paypal. This line of credit is issued by GE Money Bank. I got a 300 Credit line and no annual fee. I think they offer special financing on certain items and if you spend a certain amount of money.

Ive got this as well chris. I was approved for $800... And with the paypal plug-in you can generate a secure card number and use this credit anywhere. There is a luv button on the website but no luck with it so far... Only had 2 months. Goodluck and keep us informed.

Paypal is a good way to get your foot in the door with GEMB. A year and a half after I got approved for Paypal, GEMB sent me preapprovals for JC Penney and Lowe's.

From Buyer Credit To PPMasterCard on 2008-08-01
I too was declined for the Paypal Mastercard account initially last year. I closed out the Buyer Credit line this year and applied for the MC and was instantly approved. So keep the Buyer Credit Line, for 5 or 6 months, and see if you cant convert over to the PP MasterCard. I'm sure you'll have some luck.
It appears that GE Moneybank, likes to push the Buyer Credit Limit first.
Good Luck!!! Rockin35!

I was approved for a 400.00 credit limit (Paypal Buyer Credit). As was said, I plan on using it to get in good with GE Money so can apply for other cards later, like Walmart Discover... We'll see.
