Lots Of Fees

I read the gude about this card. It has lots of fees. $84 a/f, $7.95 monthly fee and $29 program fee. Sounds a lot like First Premier except this is a secured card. Does this card unsecure after like a year? Did you try for any of the secured cards like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, or Orchard or any of the unsecured cards from Cap 1 or Orchard? I know you are rebuilding your credit but you can get a better card than this one. It will eat you up in fees. What are your scores? If you have questions about rebuilding, there are several people on here that will help you and a ton of information on the boards. Good luck!

I agree with you Rob, this card is something like a debit card, and no it does not unsecure itself after one year.

Look Elsewhere on 2008-07-25
If you hae no other alternative then I say keep this card but if you could do better, I would say get rid of this one and go for orchard, cap 1.

Makes no sense to get rid of it now if you already paid all those fees. get rid of it when before you have to pay your next AF

I agree with Wild on this one... Get as much credit experience out of it as you can before the next AF comes around... Sounds like this card sucks.

This Card Is A Rip-off on 2009-01-21
This debit card that will cost you hundreds and they will report to credit bureau if you will not pay over $500 in fees. Run, run, run away from this rip-off debit card.

The Monthly Fee Is Your AF on 2009-03-28
I'd have to say this card is better than 1st Premier. Premier has both the AF and monthly fee. UltraVX only has a monthly fee of $6.95 which EQUALS the $83.40 AF. So don't think you'll be paying a huge fee when your anniversary hits - you WON'T. I also recently discovered that I am able to pay FREE of charge using paypal. Hope this helps.
