Ok so I applied for this card back in 5/8 my scores are all about the same (mid 600 my highest score is 645) anyways I applied online and got the 7-10day reply then I got a letter in the mail that said they would issue me a card with a 35 dollar annual fee that I needed to send to them within 15 days... So I was gonna do it this card does have it's perks lots of discounts when you use your card well my hubby seen it and threw it away :-(

So was down at the mall went in to pick up some stuff and decided to go ahead and apply again... And got approved... Only a 250 cl but hey it's a start with them... Anyone know how they do there CLI?
Scores to date: 635 630 and 645
with I'm not sure how many inq (a lot though :-(

Of a store card charging a fee! Can I ask why your dh threw away your previous cad offer? I'm not familiar with the Avenue but I think that it may be underwritten by WLFNB, check the database for NY and CO, Express, Chadwicks etc and see what their patern was.

Too Many on 2008-07-17
My hubby threw it way cause I have to many card (so he says) I had never heard of it either weird I thought... But that store does have many things I do wear so I wanted it due to the great discounts and stuff... It's through WFNNB Never had any dealings with them... Anyone know a bit about them?

I really like Avenue which carry plus size ladies clothes from 14 on up. They give credit increase every 3 months.

Avenue Card on 2008-07-18
Congratulations on your approval... We all have to start somewhere, right?? Keep your payments on time, and most likely you'll see increases very quickly. Keep us informed on your progress.

Thanks again to everyone... I LOVE this place I'm a credit junky... Sometimes just lookin that other peoples credit stuff helps me... Not to apply and just ride it out and let my accounts get older :-)

Sorry for a late response, I am usually over at the Network where we post frequently and heavy in regards to cc's.
You have made the perfect choice for having this card. They offer cli's every 4 months, just make sure that your scores are pretty decent when you ask for cli's. I talked to a manage there a while back because I was denied a cli and she told me that when the computer automatically generate cli's, it does a soft pull, and look for scores that are over 610 on Eq and EX.
I started out with $250 and I am now at $2580 with them. The coupons will have you so anxious for shopping because we get 20-40% off and what ever you do, keep close eye watch out on your statements because $10 coupon will be attached to the top of the statement paper. I was upgraded from the basic average card to the Platinum card so quick and I was very impressed by that.
They have very nice reps who will go a little further when we need help. I cant say that much about in store customer service because I have ran across some who made me wanted to drop kick them... Lol. You will love this card, and your entire wardrobe will soon say "Avenue" on everything, watch out!
