I called yesterday to check the status of the application and
I was told that it was declined!!! Then I called another number and she said it still processing and I should receive a letter in 7 to 10 business days?!!!
what's that mean? Does this happen to anyone else?
My score is 776 from myFICO.com with only one inquiry??!!!

I always tell everyone to not believe what the CSR says. Just wait until you receive your card or a letter in the mail.

I have heard of weird things like being declined and received the card. If I am not mistaken Pamela2 had this issue with Hooter's.

Conflicting Information on 2008-07-07
Unfortunately, I've posted several comments on cards in this Network and one thing that has remained constant is "Misinformation" from over the phone CSR's. Wait until you get the letter in the mail. Rockin35

The CSR I had spoken with said they never, ever instantly approve people online. totally not true. when she was arguing with me on that, I was staring at the 'approved' screen!

You should've hit the print screen button on your keyboard and e-mailed her whatever was on your screen at the moment. She would've been speechless.
