defserv's review: I applied for this card in store a few days ago and was approved for $1,000. She did not tell me whether or not it was the store card or MasterCard nor did she tell me any of the terms... APR or a/f. So I decided to hold off on my shopping that day until I receive it and know what I am getting myself into.
If it's got an annual fee I will call and see about getting it waived, if not... I will cancel.

On the approval!!! I hope its not the Mastercard, but I am assuming with that starting CL its probably not. Anyways, I hear there store card has like a 0% apr for the 1st 6 months. Is that still true?

The store card is much better... Better CLI's... They make the MC look tempting all but the AF is ridiculous.

I ended up with the store card which means no a/f :)
asked for $1,000 cli on activation but was denied. Will try again after some use. I took advantage of the 6 months /
no interest and picked up a nice blu-ray player. :)

Best Buy CLI's on 2008-07-31
I've also heard that the CLI's are better with the Best Buy store card. Does anyone know how long before you can request an increase? I read one post which stated 6 months.

The Best Buy store card can only give you CLI's every 6 months. I have the card and it's an automatic denial if I don't wait 6 months for a CLI.
