yoyo11's review: As we know, I've been waiting for my increase on this card... They put that $150 annual fee on my anniversary date. 3 days later they put the $6 monthly fee... Yesterday they waived $50 off the annual fee. Today I went on line and got a $150 CLI. Not too bad. Made me feel like I got a $200 CLI since they waived $50 off the annual fee. Started 7/07 with $300 CL. Now $600 after one year. No too bad... But Tribute was a bit better.

Question on 2008-06-26
Did you have to call them to get it partially waived? or did they do it automatically?

It was automatic like the Tribute card... I think I called Tribute once and they told me no CLI request over the phone... Do you have the Salute?

Just Got Approved on 2008-07-14
I got approved on saturday the 5th... Today is the 14th... Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get the card... I know this is one of those cards with fees but in the long run will help me rebuild after bankruptcy... It is so hard to find those cards that don't have monthly maintenance fees and large start up fees with a $300 limit!! I have capitol one and hooters and best buy MasterCard, HSBC MasterCard and old orchard... But I want a card alittle higher than these but my bankruptcy is only 14 old so I don't think you start getting the higher approvals this early do you?

I'm sorry but you made a HUGE mistake. Since you have credit cards from Capital One, Hooters, and HSBC you don't need a card like this. Instead of taking a step forward, you are taking a step back. Those cards mentioned above will open doors for you when they become a year old and carry a solid payment history. I'm sorry for being so strict but that's the truth.

I don't think you took a step back. As far as subprime cards are concerned, this definately isn't the worst.
If you're looking to add cards to your portfolio and can't get any of the better ones, this wasn't a horrible choice.

She clearly doesn't need this card because she already has cards that will do the same job without having to pay those non-sense fees.
