Last month I've applied for this card online. Instant Denied. So after researching, I wrote a later explain that I'm in the mist of re-building my credit and to take a look at my positive actions on my credit report. Today I got a letter in the mail stating that they still denied me. Oh well, I've tried. Even so, I do have a card with them as a second user on my brother's card. The card is mine and I'm responsible for the payments, however, it won't show on my credit report.... I guess you can't win them all...

I still think Cap1 is a good bank. When I was 18, they were actually my 1st credit card. I didn't appreciate the importance of credit at the time, so at age 20, I let the card charge off (this was one of 4). Now almost 6 years later (and I paid the charge off 3 years ago). I have applied for this card 3 separate times and been denied every time. I know its a good credit builder, I just wish they would offer me a second chance at it. That's alright though, I applied for the hooters mc and got it, so I'm happy

Yoyo, it's alright. Don't think that you're not doing a good job just because Cap 1 denied you. Remember, time is the biggest and only factor that will help you rebuild your credit. Don't give up, just keep making your payments on time and all of your wishes will come true! Trust me!
