I applied for this card on Oct 27,2006. I was approved for a partially secured card. I am in reestablishing my credit. I got a $500 credit line with a $99 security deposit. I have had the card for a few months and haven't had any problems. The only con is that there is a 2 day period between the time that you make a payment online and the time that it posts to your account. Not a problem for me, it's just that when I make a payment on Thursday, I can't use my card until Saturday. Yeah, I am a shopper. I use this $500 to give myself a payday advance. I have a good job and I will give you an update when I am able to upgrade my card later on this year. I'm crossing my fingers for the Visa Signature with World Points. Apparently you can request what you want your credit line to be. If you are approved at $10,000 you can have it. I've got the money and the job to support it. Amazing what you can get accomplished. Credit is important!! I learned the hard way, but I straightened mine up and it wasn't as bad as you may think. My FICO was a 600 and in 7 months I am at 640. Slowly but surely.
