I made the same mistake about 6 months ago. they should be up front with that on the application, or the application shouldn't let you go further if you put in a state they don't service... Theres no way they should even make an inquiry.

Do Your Home Work on 2008-04-26
This site is not intended to be the bible, however it is for information purposes, since the site is not affiliated with any of the banks or cards on the site. I would urge everyone to check out the companies site for exact fees and service policies. Example, US Bank will not generally approve a standard card, however if you apply for the North West Airline card you can get approved. Some banks put restrictions on the locations they serve based on state of incorporation laws. I just ask everyone to do some do diligence before applying for credit

My sister and I was denied for this card and there is another card that we were denied for by not being in their demographic area, I just can't remember.
