elle_13's review: I got this card in 5-07 after a pre-ap in the mail. I got a initial cl of $500 and havent got any clis since but I'm not complaining, I didnt get charged the $150 af. Only $70? Or so
A great credit builder card, and they dont charge to pay online which is a big bonus for me!!

Hello Ellen 13 on 2008-04-22
I got my card the same time 5/07...$150 annual fee $350 credit limit. I'm wondering why you didn't get any CLI. They gave me one at 6 months then 2 more three months later. Now my CL is $600. I'm waiting for my 4th increase... They already took the $150 annual fee since 5/08 stating is around the corner. I did ask for them to lower or waive it... And yes... They said no. But if you paid on time., never went over the limit... You you automaticaly received CLI. Give Mr. Tribute a call...

Congratulations on 2008-04-22
Thats good news. I would still give them a call as well, just to follow up on a possible CLI. It cant hurt to ask, you've earned it. So give them a call. Rockin35!

Yeah, you should of received something by now... I started at $500, last month they doubled me to $1000, no fee. My card was pre-approved too... It is not bad, I've never had a problem, but I don't think they do cardholder initiated CLI, it is automatic, at least that is what their phone system says when you call... Good Luck

Did you have your card? At least one year? Do you have an annual fee? Was your balance low when they gave you such an increase? I'm just wondering because I'm so impatient and want to know what should I expect!!! My next month statement is coming up and I hope my CLI is more than $100!!! Please advise...

I have had by card almost a year. I probably could have had an even higher limit by now... But I went 5 months without using the card when I first got it because I read so many horror stories about it right here at this website. I finally decided to take a chance and try it, and I have had no problems. I did have a balance when I got my increase, $140, and I do not have an annual fee. I do have to pay $4.95 on their wbsite to make a payment which I don't like, I just suck it up... I read somewhere increases are done after 4 on-time payments and continued use of the card, seems to be the case for me... Good luck.

I was pre-approved for $1000.00 limit and after recieving confirmation of acceptance I called customer service because I had not received my card as promised. Despite paying for a expressmail, I was told that the card application was still being processed. I told them that I had a confirmation with terms and everything, and the lady in customer service got beligerent and basically called me a liar. I offered to fax them the confirmation page, but they said that they don't have a fax number (who's lying now). I asked for a mamager and the women told me that she was the manager and that I would just have ot wait. I want to cancel this card now but I don't want a closed acct on my CR's,. I have been approved for much better cards since, and I want to tell them to stick this card where the sun don't shine..$150.00 annual fee... I can't believe that I was that f... G stupid... Anyways, hope that I am able to help people out there to aboiv the same pitfall... Good luck people... BUYER BEWARE!!!
