I applied for this card nearly a year ago. At that time, I had a very low credit score, probably in the mid 500's. HSBC honored my online request for credit and issued me an initial credit line of 1200.00.
It should also be noted that HSBC performed the most thorough credit check of any bank that I personally have encountered.
