debtor00's review: I've had this card a year. It started at 750 limit. Requested a cli when I was on the phone with customer service about a glitch in my online account management. She asked how much I wanted. I asked for 1500 cause it sounded realistic but ambitious. Approved. Wish I had said 5000!

Citi is awesome about CLI. Sign your card up to Citi accounts and hit the luv button every few months, you should get increases pretty easily as long as you maintain your account in good standing. ;)

Do you have a high income around 6 figures? If you do, then any bank will be nice to you. No offense but I'm upset with BofA not giving me a CLI due to my income. However, I use their card heavily and I pay it off in full every month. I wish they would look at my payment history with them and giving me a CLI already!

We just figured up our annual income the other night and it came to 90,000, which is a good income for us, but I realize it's pretty modest for some high rollers. :D
I don't know if it makes a difference, but we have a ver low debt to income ratio, and we've paid off most of our revolving balances.
I think it's been the paying off of balances that has benefited us the most.

Income Does Help on 2008-03-27
Well, when the apps ask for household income I'm sure I appear to be in much better shape than I actually am, cause adding my bacon makin' sweetie pie's income puts us over the 6 figure mark, but the ones that just ask for my income know the sad truth :D

Pay Stub on 2008-03-27
When BOA did an account over haul for me, I was asked to fax in pay stubs which did not bother me since I had to do it for my home equity line anyway. After they were able to verify income over 150. I got exactly what I wanted. You are better off asking to speak to a credit rep who can review it with you.
