debtor00's review: I got this card early January with the 150 credit limit. I told my brother that was laughing hard at my little limit that I wasn't too upset with it, cause at thatpoint in my credit journey, I was a beggar not a chooser.
Now it's about time for that four month cli that I've heard so much about. An AMEX upgrade would make my day (but I won't hold my breath). I would love to get big money from them cause around here they have got the best purse and shoe inventory in town!! So far with the way I've kept it paid and the reward bucks I've gotten, they owe me about 17 bucks!!! Any advise on the best shot at a cli??

Sign-up for online bill pay and there will be a "credit increase request" link, hit it and see what happens. They will grant an increase on the 4th month if you have paid on time and not gone over your credit limit.
If your score are near the 640-660 range they will review your account for the AMEX upgrade. Cant wait then, I would send a "consideration for upgrade" letter to Dillard's underwriting department.
It worked for me and a few of my friends as well. Just remember the hard part was getting in with GEMB and now you have the freedom to deal with Dillards directly. I hope this sheds a bit of light. Good Luck.

These people are the stingiest cli offerors in the dept store industry. They gave me $150 to start, $100 4 months later, and a bunch of turn downs all the way through, that is why I closed them out.

Who's the underwriter of this card? I think it's GEMB because that's how it showed up on my report.

Thanks Guys on 2008-03-26
Thanks, since I have so many inquiries, I'm scared to send a letter. I can visualize a room full of cubicles filled with credit authorization people laughing at me. I think I could possibly hit that 640-660 sweet spot in September when an old, ridiculous, and unfair baddy falls off and these inquiries age 6 months. Then I'm going to hit the luv button and hope I get an amex.
