I got this card in November. Started off with 300 CL now I am at 1500. I pay in full and they keep increasing. This card is way better than orchard or household bank. This is one card I would recommend to anyone trying to rebuild their credit. Pay in a timely manner, don't go over the limit and they won't have a problem being good to you.

You are doing the right thing.
Household Bank - Orchard Bank are all the same as HSBC owns both above but capitalOne is the best My credit line with them $1800 if I call I know they will probably Increase my credit line and I will by next month.

Dream Card Is A Joke on 2008-03-22
Capital One is a cheap [edited] bank. I have gotten all of 2 CL from them in 2 years. I recently closed out my credit card accounts and money market account. Got a call from the retention department and told drop dead.

Capital One is a bank that approves credit lines based on your credit history and in time they do give you a good credit line you might have had a bad experience overall read the reviews here its a very popular bank yes there are better banks out there but I like capital one they work with me.
They lower my APR, Gave me checks but I don't use them. No annual fee and like I said before $1800 credit line.
For me they are great.

I am enjoying my CLI I use it and the next week pay it in full. They have been more than generous with me. Within 4 more I go from 300 to 1600 I can't complain. So I have learned that if you are good to some banks they will be good to you.
I have had household bank since 2002 and my limit went from 500 to 750 and now they said they only give out increases once a year... WTF so I have decided to place them in my drawer and let dust build up or buy some gum when I am bored.
So if you are unsatisfied with cap one then maybe you have the wrong operator on the wrong day. They are wonderful to me. The backdoor number increase my limit regular and then they gave me my 3 month increase. So I have to recommend cap one to those rebulding from my own personal experience.
