I applied online... It asked me for some really basic information, and I had to enter the CC# of another major credit card (I guess to verify identity). After I 'submitted' it I got a very vague message. It didn't say approved, it didn't say denied... It didn't' say I would receive a decision. It just said "Thank You." and if I wanted to, I could call customer service.
I received an e-mail abot 2 minutes later congratulating me on my approval, and that I could go to any store and use the account immediately. Only a $100 initial limit due to some sort of security purposes, but I'll take it.
Only about a 560 at the time due to 20+ inquiries in the past 4 months and 8 newly open accounts. I think I'll wait 6 months or so before I apply to any others to let my inquiries cool down and let my score build up. I'm shooting for the low 600's by then...

Don't be disappointed on the low limit, as long as you keep your payment history in good shape, then they will give you good increases. I have this card too so I know how it feels. Good luck!

I received a similiar message when I was approved, Once you call them they automatically increased the amount significantly. I assume by the questions they asked they wanted to make sure I applied for the account.

Please whatever you do, do not be discouraged, they will give you a cli every six months. When applying for this card, I recommend that you should go into the store and apply. That is when you get the $300 limit or more. I was told by several of members that this limit is just a security percaution ($100 initial limit). Again congrats on the card and keep us informend about your usage and experiences. One more thing, check your mailbox, you are going to be very happy with the offers they are going to send you.

I applied online as well last year with a 660 FICO and received a $300 limit. Within 6 months I was up to $1500. Good luck and congrats!

Get out of here Sam! That is a cool limit. This is what I am waiting for so that I can finally get my lowest card to catch up with the rest.
