defserv's review: I applied for this card about 3 weeks ago... I received the 7-10 day message, checked status and was approved for $1200. No A/F, 1.99% APR for 6 months. Also skip payment privileges in case of emergency's you can skip 2 payments per year. Although it's a small limit... I've been hearing about great CLI's from these guys...:)

This Is A Great Card To Have on 2008-03-02
My Father has this card and his limit last time I talked to him was 25,000. Just be on time paying and try to pay a little more than the min. And you should see a bunch of CLI's.
Did you get a preapproval letter for this I'm curious.

Good Card on 2008-03-03
As a SEIU member, I applied on line for this card in July 07 and got an instant decision approving me for a 2K credit limit. My scores were in the mid 600s across the board. To my surprise, when the card arrived 5 to 7 days later my credit limit was 3K. The card has the Service Employees International Union logo in the colors grey, purple and gold and of course the Union Plus and MasterCard logo. I thought that was "cool".
The website is super easy to navigate for scheduling payments, viewing statements, recent transactions, credit limit increases. There's also a link to sign up for other union member benefits for you and your family.
I got the same 1.99% APR for 6 months offer which expired at the end of January- so now I'm at 12.99% I haven't received nor have I requested a credit limit increase. I've kept my usage at under 1K since activation and I schedule payments bi-weekly, I want to have this paid off by the end of May. I got 2 convenience checks to use for balance transfers or cash with my statement this month, but I shredded them- those things scare me.
So far this card has been good : )
