Applied for this card and was approved same day. I have a bit lower credit score than average because of some past issues. They started me out with a 100 cl and after 3 months they move you to 300 and at 6 could go anywhere from 500 to 1000. You get a discount off of your 1st days purchase. Its a good starting point if you are trying to rebuild credit or establish credit. You can prove that you are serious and your cli's will reflect your responsibility.

Yeah, you're right, this is a good starter card. I had a comment about it on this card a few months ago. Hopefully this will allow you to pull some approvals on the top tier cards in the near future!

I Love My Macy's on 2008-02-28
Good Card treat it right its backed by Citi. I love my macys and bloomies cards don't care much for Target red card or the Visa. Macys and Bloomies give increases every 3 months and they have bigger accts for furniture and jewelery just ask about em..

This is a nice card to have. I love going to this store espeically for their cologne and perfumes. You will receive some nice coupons in the mail from them and what ever you do, watch for the 1 day sales. I love them. Congrats on your approval.
